The Sugar Block Club: January

Hey Everyone!

 

We're doing something new this year!

We started a Quilt Block of the Month Club!

"The Sugar Block Club" by Stitchery Dickory Dock.

She has the most amazing ideas and lots of fun tutorials.

 

...Fabric...

We're using a 36 Color Wheel Fat 1/8th Bundle by Surly Sheep. She has the most lovely fabrics...such a nice variety. We also added a Fat 1/8th Bundle in Pink and Grey. We're not using the same fabric as Amy from Stitchery Dickory Dock...but that's okay! :)

The January Block is called "Snow Blossom"

We agree with Amy...the Red/Pink looks like Tulips pointing up to the sky. That's why we selected blue for the corners instead of grey. That's the great part about block of the month clubs...you pick the fabric and design the quilt your way! We have to say...Amy's block IS super cute...and we did base our colors off of hers! :)

This month was Banana Whoopie Pies...yikes!
